Flip Mino HD to Final Cut Pro

The Flip Mino HD camera saves files in MP4 format, which Final Cut Pro does not like - when clips are inserted into a sequence, they need to be rendered.

I found the best way to deal with this is to use Compressor to batch-convert using the HDV 720p30 setting (under Settings -> Advanced Format Conversions).
